Has anyone had problems with the 360 gh3 guitar (wireless)

My grandfather is getting pissed off, we were going to get the 360 version of the game for my lil bro for xmas but every ****ing place has said it breaks and tries to sell a warranty. We thought they were just money grabbing with the warranty in till we went to walmart and non commissioned places and they are still saying that. I haven't heard anyone having problems with it but my grandfather does not believe that is true and that its ultimately flawed and the ps3 version is far superior because everyone at the stores says so. Please tell me if this is true.

no problems with mine except the neck felt a little jiggly because it can detach. i just shimmed a few pieces of paper in it and its nice and snugg now.

Mine will drain the batteries EVERY DAMN TIME after I'm finished playing. If I turn off the 360 and leave the guitar alone until the next day or so the batteries are always dead! I haven't heard about this from anyone else yet but apparently I'm not the only one.

Now I have to take the batteries out every time when I finish playing.

that would be annoying as **** considering that they did not make it so we could use a regular 360 controller battery. Would have been nice since those are easy as **** to take out and i have the charger and all.

I had one button that was flaky when I first got done putting it together due to the two-piece design (horrible idea). Once I started playing though I haven't noticed any issues I could blame on the guitar, the contacts maybe just needed to wear in or some such.
