you can't get on a plane, go to a bank, buy a gun and other things without it. and it keeps track of everything you do. it basically replaces your state drivers license and serves as your social security card.

This is outrageous, considering people didn't have social security cards or driver's licenses before.

yeah, you can't do any of that without a normal driver's license...and they already keep track of everything we do, so what the fuck is the difference?
