Tranfering 150 gigs by USB 1.0

Is going to take for fucking ever :(

I'm putting the data onto a external from my old computer, and then from there onto my new HDD. Old comp only has USB 1.0, so that'll take for fucking ever. Oh, and I can only do about 40 gigs at a time :(

the new comp has 2.0 though, so that should go quicker :)

Yes, I know I could have bought a USB transfer cable, but I don't have the money :(
 
why not just physically take the hd out fo the new computer and put it in the old?

unless its serial ata..
 
or, crack open the USB enclosure and hook up the hard drive from the old PC to it instead of the drive that's in there.

Yes, it will work fine.

Thought about doing this, not too sure about what I'd be doing though. I'll go look into it.
 
why don't you just move the hard drive into the new computer and have 2 hdds in it
