congratulations. some fans are kinda daunting at first but all very simple in the end.

ive hung countless fans.

I had the gf hold it up while I wire screwed the wires together. however I could have just hung it up by the ball joint and did the wire connecting then but I wanted her to get a nice little work out :p:
 
I knew a guy who put one in his bedroom but didn't brace it at all, just hung it from the electrical box. It fell off one night and fucked him up. Got like 16 stitches in the side of his face.
