Best Bank deals? Would you go for this?

I bank with Bank of America. Its lame. So I was looking at this. United Heritage Credit Union - Home Page - www.uhcu.org 6.01% APY on the checking account. free ATM withdraws. There are no big downsides. I am a resident of Austin (I don't live there but I am in the Army and am still a resident of Austin TX)
anyone know of any other good deals like this? I hear some foreign banks can have like 9%...

they dont' seem very big. guess downside would be lack of atms

USBank is whom I bank for. Right now their home loan rates are 6.12 in Idaho. Not too bad. Their student loans are really decent also.
