First attempt at balanced diet today failed...

End result for the day:
25% Fat
44% Carbs
30% Protein

Sweet jeebus!

I've always heard that removing the skin from chicken is healthier. Today I find that since I ate some chicken drummettes, I more than doubled the calories by not removing the skin first...not to mention the insane amount of fat. The fat content of the skin alone is almost equivalent to the amount of protein you get. The whole point of me eating chicken today was for protein, not fat. This messed up today's diet ratio attempt. Damn!

I need to find some protein rich foods that I like which contain no carbs or fats.

I was going for 50C/35P/15F. No real reason behind those numbers other than I definitely want the Fat ratio to be low and I think 15 is a good number. I've also read that 40% protein is overkill, so yah.

I dunno. Probably a fraction in there somewhere. That's what the site had posted.




On another note: I didn't realize you could post what you plan to eat ahead of time. This allowed me to know the figures beforehand and I will meet my goals for today within 1%. This site is awesome!
