STALKER: The trader's door won't open when I try to return to him after 1st mission

So I'm trying to return the flash drive, but when I go down that little tunnel the door is shut and F won't do anything. Is this a bug or am I dense?
 
No, it's pretty good. Interesting if nothing else. It just takes some getting used to, and you have to play it knowing you're not playing a normal FPS.
 
Runs fine on my AMD 3200, 1 gig of ram, gefore 7800 GS. 1280x1024 medium settings that it preloaded with, haven't bothered messing with it.

So am I experiencing a bug, why can't I get into the trader's damn door?
 
isn't starforce the protection system that disables/changes certain game aspects when you pirate the game?

is your copy legit?
 
Yeah I think it would be the starforce for sure. Try looking for a starforce removal hack. Maybe on the official forums.
