Is anyone actually going to see Rage Against The Machine?

especially those outside california

they already sold out for the one day pass on Sunday (tickets went on sale yesterday at 10 am), the day RATM plays

all thats left if u wanna see them is the 3 day pass which is almost 300 bucks after taxes/surcharges.

and then of course possible plane tickets, hotel'ing, etc. if you're coming from out of state.

i'm really tempted as it seems like a one time opportunity, but i'd be coming from texas, on a weekend when university is still in session (as the semester is wrapping up).

anyone else going?
 
you can camp on site. i'm thinking about going, but not to see rage. don't think i can afford to take 3 days off of work right now though :( (in april)
 
If I were within 500 miles I would go for sure, but I cant miss that much school.
I'll certainly be watching them preform live from some form of media shortly after it happens.
 
i bet they play a bunch of shitty tracks like:

"renegades of funk"

and zach de la rocha recites poetry for half the set
 
i was at my local ticketmaster retailer before 10, first person in line

they were sold out before i could buy my fucking ticket

cochella is bullshit, im not going ot pay 250 bucks to see RATM and 300 shit bands
