a thought about ESPN's monday night football...

i thought the booth chemistry would get better but it hasnt, and now they've resorted to bringing in a celebrity each week who in some way 'represents' a city of one of the teams playing. example being Sly Stalone this week, and Philadelphia. The only saving grace is there have been some great, close games played on monday night this year.

Sunday night football > Monday night football now.

SNF is clearly superior but i think thats because madden/michaels have better chemistry and the NFL's flex scheduling is bringing exciting match-ups to sunday night

espn paid so much for the monday night license and they're getting fucked by crappy and boring games

I can't stand Madden and his stupid sayings like “Hey, the offensive linemen are the biggest guys on the field, they're bigger than everybody else, and that's what makes them the biggest guys on the field.”

definitely agree.

Mike tirico (sp?) is a great broadcaster, but I'm sick of Theisman and Kornheiser is terrible

I hate this night time crap, it's not the same anymore.

Football is meant to be played on Sunday afternoon.
