according to discovery atlas "every 4 out of 5 Australians live within 30 minutes of the ocean." Are you one of those Beren?

And I live within 1 minute of the beach (walking). I would say most live within 45 minutes (maybe 30 if you went at 2 am)

4 out of 5 Tasmanians are close family :)

i used to live about 2 min walk from the ocean... but now its more like 30 min walk. Or 10 min drive.
 
I'm about 20 minutes from the ocean. :shrug:

60% of Australians prefer to use percentage as a statistical marker rather than using fractions.
