[Anti-Virus] a good free anti-virus program?

i have firefox BTW so anything that runs through IE is no dice...
 
Agree NOD32 is far better...but it isn't free. If you're willing to spend money, get NOD32. If not, AVG will do.

Why exactly is NOD32 better than AVG? I had been using norton forever until I realized how many resources it chewed up. Now Im running AVG and like it a whole lot better.

Still waiting for that tidbit myself. WTF is NOD and why is it better than AVG? Free and not a system hog with almost daily updates is hard to beat.

I don't understand how people still manage to get viruses with AVG, especially around here, where people are, on average, slightly more tech savvy.

Stop clicking yes to everything, and don't download porn that has a .exe at the end of it, for fuck's sake.

AVG is more than enough if you're not a tard.

And it's free, and I don't need to turn it off when I play a game, like other antivirus solutions.

Hey man, what is this with everyone trying to get shit FREE all the time. Fucking hobos wandering around MY FUCKING HIGHWAYS all hands-out and asking for SOFTWARE and MONEY and shit. Fuck this shit, I'm moving to a country where entitlement isn't a fucking STATE RIGHT. I mean seriously, what the fuck is with all of this free shit? And corporations and just giving shit away for FREE, right? No way, they suck you in and bleed you until you are FUCKING DRY with their fucking this and that and the other thing. Like I want extra filters for my portable vacuum cleaner? What are you, fucking insane?? Get off my god damn phone, you motherfucking asshole!! And I swear to god, if these assholes ever call me again, they are going to fucking get it RIGHT IN THE FUCKING MOUTH I SWEAR.
