What's the cheapest labtop you guys have seen?

The only 2 things it's going to do is play MP3's and run MS Word, nothing else. I want to get one new not used. I'm not picky on brand but reliability would be nice.

Because I'm a small business I get a crazy discount from Dell but the lowest price I have seen from them since I got a small business acct was $250. Can anyone beat that and provide a link? :sunny:
 
A used Thinkpad in decent shape will be leaps and bounds ahead of any $250 POS new laptop you can find in terms of quality.
 
my sister bought a toshiba for about $400 after MIR about 3 months ago. Today, my dad came home with a similar one for his brother..said it was about the same price. :shrug:

defiantly get a used one. name your price point and shop on ebay for 1 week.

$200 can get you a rock solid laptop thats 2-4 years old.

edit: go with a PIII for a laptop. They dont have heat problems and are efficient with electricity.
