I'm looking into a new host and need something with good uptime and fast responce time servers. Plus it must have good support.

1&1 seem to be a great deal. Anyone using them?

I am using 1 & 1 webhosting, but its not for a large site or anything. Mostly I use it to upload things to the internet so I can host them or access them from places other than my home.

No, its been good to me so far. I had to get use to the cpanel stuff (it was different from my old one).

I run a picture hosting site for myself and my friends/family. its not diar important to be down for a little bit but I need the assurance that the company wont die and that there is some decent service.

I use 1&1 for general/random hosting and testing, it's been excellent for the last 7 months that I've been using it, and extremely cheap for what you get.

godaddy doesnt offer SSH access for shared packages. Only Virtually dedicated and dedicated boxes
