How is TW not blocked by major internet filtering companies?

My high school's software package didn't block it, my university's "locked" computers don't block it, Best Buy doesn't block it, and apparently neither does the military. Do we have friends in high places or something?
 
I was wondering this too.

It happened very recently. I think they got reclassified somehow.
 
I can't get to thefacebook, gmail, or SA yet I can look at all the NWS I'd like here :D.
 
Wasn't there a thread a long time ago about one of the major companies blocking TW? The poster got people to spam their tech support line over and over (I can't for the life of me remember who it was).
 
As much as we like to imagine ourselves as major interweb players, TW is small potatoes at best...except for Matt.
 
Oddly enough I can get to all of TW fine after my company started using Surf Safe. Although I'm not complaining, I find it odd because most any site listed as "Games" category is blocked. For example Tribalwars.net is blocked as a "Games" site.

I think I remember something awhile back about TW getting removed from a lot of lists because of the news listing or something :lol:
