I can't take credit for most, that would go to some guy at http://overdrawn.net/mario/ but I added sound as well as collision detection. It works on a friggin high resolution though... Open it up in browser to see what it looks like, was kind of fun to kill some time with coding. Didn't get around to moving mario.

btw, want a cool idea? integrate that with a 'real mario' and have each ? be a shortcut desktop, when you hit it it does the megaman effect

While a 'real Mario' might sound like a good idea at first I think I would get tired of it rather quickly since it would take so long to hit a shortcut.
