[Gross] Question about poo

Where does poo take its "shape"?

Granted, there are several different types of poo, ranging from shrapnel to solid lumps, but where does the average dump get its shame from? Does it form in the colon into large lumps and then pass down unchanged, or does it work a lot like those playdough squeezie things (where you insert playdough, push down, and it comes out in a long strand in various shapes)?

Its called "Peristalsis" a muscle movement in the bowel.

Your sphincter makes the final shape while the consistency produces the length etc.
