In keeping with the marriage/engagement theme of TW lately, lets pose this question.

I'm looking for any information people might have on honeymoons. Personally I have always wanted to go to Tahiti, and am looking at all inclsuive resort where we can stay in one of those over water rooms. Looking for a 14 day stay.

Everything I have found on the web has been cruises and such with very few actualy details (its always call the travel agent). I prefer doing my research BEFORE I talk to an agent so I can get the best deal worked out. Anyone here have any experiences with stuff like this?

I won't be getting married until I find a girl that wants to go skiing/boarding for her honeymoon

That's my suggestion

My brother did that for his honeymoon.. stayed in one of those exact "over water" things you're talking about - Bora Bora is probably the place you're thinking of.

His (and his wife's) comments on it: very pretty, beautiful and all that, but having already been together for a few years, the whole 'newlyweds locked in the room doing nothing but having sex for a week' thing wasn't really applicable, and when it comes down to it, there's really not much else to do there, so they were kinda bored after a few days.

Also, they were flying out from Sydney, so French Polynesia isn't so far off and it's probably a fair bit cheaper airfare-wise than going from the US (where I'm assuming you are)

Met a girl while boarding in Canada.. she was a mountain biker, as well. Not exactly a huge rack on her, but god damn she had a great ass, and damn if she knew it, too.......

If you didn't live in the US I would totally say Cuba.

I'm in Hawaii, so it's like a 2 hour flight, really want to do lots of scuba diving and sailing, and since we are looking for a resort there should be lots of other stuff to do. Really want it to be all inclusive, because I love to every once in a while just set the wallet down and not have to worry about it all.

My sister just got married this past weekend and her and her husband are going to Greece for 17 days. They're gonna hop around all the islands and such.

While this is true I don't think they are too worried about it. :D
