I need to give a user access to the event logs on 5 servers. What permissions do they need? They will not be logging on to the server, they will be viewing the logs remotely.

Please educate me.

my work has windows server 2003 embedded within winxp on one computer. that's all i know.

does he need live access to the logs...might be easier just to export them out for him.

Server operators can do this.

Like I fucking said. You want them to connect remotely via the computer manager and be able to open the event logs? Server operators can fucking do this.
