I am using TMPGENC DVD Source Creator to convert this .avi to a .mpg so i can then create a DVD of it using TMPGENC DVD Author. But I'm not getting sound when I check out the mpeg afterwards. Anybody know what i might need or how i might be able to get more info about the .avi i'm using (i.e. sound information, etc.)

I just downloaded an .avi of O Brother Where Art Thou and converted it to mpg and burnt it on a dvd, no problem. And the sound worked perfectly.
