it does look pretty slick

however - i bought a ps2 JUST to play sons of liberty

i hated the ending of that game so much that i gave my ps2 to my cousin

so i don't think i'm going to snag a ps3 right off the bat this time
 
mgs3 was neat. i actually borrowed that same ps2 i gave away to play through it. i didn't complete it because the rental was up - but i got to the sniper boss fight, and that was fun as hell

the story in mgs2 was just awful though - i was physically ill every time raiden spoke

Did you not see the teasers for MGS4 made with the MGS3 engine? The whole thing made fun of him.
