no.

hawthorne heights is not a start.

i don't know what silverstien is, but i bet it's not a start either.

those are pop bands. it just so happens that pop music, instead of being backstreet boys and britney spears, sounds like fake rock music these days.

buy her a blink182 or pre-american idiot greenday CD and slowly wean her backwards towards real rock music.

i'm absolutely serious dude. those two sound enough like/inspired all the modern pop punk bands that she might not instantly reject them. but then you can work backwards to the offspring, and then maybe towards bush, and pearl jam, then towards metallica...

actually, get good charlotte before you hit blink

Oh we have all the blink and Greenday all the way back to the beginning....this is her own. Dad pays for it but she "discovered" it.

My kids were breatfed on Peter Gabriel, sung to sleep by Beth Orton and learned to walk to Dispatch and The Dead. Their experience with music has always been to my taste. This is all hers.

We have all the Deftones, Rage and Tool. Her twin Bro rocks to that. Dude you got to understand.....this is a girl.......She cries about a sad story on the Disney channel. This is her first adventure into the brash world of "hard rock". I'm proud that she could pick this stuff out on her own.
