Bush's chief of staff Andrew Card resigns

This happened this morning and nobody mentioned it here, which is suprising.

Andrew Card, Bush's chief of staff, has resigned. I'm not sure if we should be happy that Bush is finally firing his fuckup staff or if we should be upset that it took him this long. Then again, I don't think he is any more competent than anyone in his staff.

The chief of staff is a major position. Although each President decides his chief of staff's role, he's usually pretty much the most powerful man in the executive branch behind the president and VP.

Hopefully Rumsfeld is next.
