ive only started listening to this and i think its great.

what do you guys think of depeche mode?

Check out the album Violator. They're concert is coming around again. You should go. They're doing some of their best live work these days.
 
Depeche Mode is great. A few off the top of my head:

Just download all their albums, but those are some good ones.

they have some tour lined up for real, closest to me though is california in late april :(
 
check out one of their old albums like "Broken Frame." It's a sampling of gore's adolescent days before the band became utterly obsessed with drugs and sex as overt themes for thier music. It also has a raw and unique sound that has become associated with gore.

the music is good, i dont know about the lyrics yet though ive only listened to half an album. but a full year of tour doesnt lie

DM is one of my all time favorite bands. they are a huge inspiration to me. their early work pushes the boudries of electronic and pop music and they are on another stretch of this again with Playing the Angel.

if youre looking for a good sampler of their music check out their singles releases. you should have no problem finding this in any record store. my two favs would have to be violator and music for the masses. although black celebration is great too.
