Jesus, just transfer it onto a laptop, take your modded xbox (i assume you have one) and a network hub along with ethernet cables over you lazy bastard.

Most do.

A couple that I recently tested weren't all that great, LG / Toshiba models. They both played xVid (gmc & qpel) movies, but stuttered on a few older codecs(divx5.0 wtf?).

I've had a kiss dp450 since they came out, it's divx certified, plays xvid shit as well(non gmc & qpel). It's been a great player...plan on getting a dp600 when they come out.

NoFiX, I'm planning on getting this to replace my DVP 642:

Recording and DivX playback.

It's on sale this week so I'll start reading reviews during the weekend and see if it's worth it.
