Writing Formulas

Are their any programs like LaTeX for windows that are really good at formatting equations? Preferably something that involves learning a little less syntax then LaTeX.

Honestly I think using LaTeX is probably the best idea. Use the program WinEdt to make it easier.
^^^ I used to use this back in the day, it's really not much syntax to learn
it also has buttons at the top that you can scroll through if you don't know the syntax

Ya, I usually use maple or latex but I may use MS's eqn editor this time. To be honest I never really checked it out that closely as I assumed it was crap.

Latex is awesome actually for doing long reports that have a lot of math in them. Results in a very professional looking project and the fact that it generates a lot of stuff for you means it is LESS work if you are proficient in syntax. To bad I forgot all of it :(

Thanks for the WinEDT link, even if I dont use it today I am sure I will need it sometime.

I use mathtype, its the better version of Word's equation editor.

It simply owns. keyboard shortcut for everything; I can write equations faster on this than I can write them with a pen.
