So my ex just mailed me telling me that her mom's breast cancer came back

I broke it off back in June, she emailed me a few days ago telling me my Reggae hero was coming to town, got to talking a bit... well she lays on me that her moms cancer came back, she's got 6-12 months, etc. Basically told me that she'd let the fact that i cheated on her go, etc.

Know what i did? Deleted the email, didn't reply. Deleted her off my friends list, and blocked her on AIM.

If you think turning someone away that needs you makes you a badass, you are wrong. Basically you are a piece of shit human. I'm not saying you should get back with her, but you should comfort her. If you were in a situation where you were losing a parent, you might need support from places you didn't know you'd need.
 
Oh i know for a fact she was.

Fuck it, i don't need that kind of depressing shit in my life, especially if it's not necessary.

I'm a fairly optimistic person and a big ball of negativity like that just brings me down.
