Is there a way to check what ports are blocked on your connection?

In this case, I'm talking about being on campus. I think Limewire's port is blocked and I can't connect on STEAM. ANy ideas?

If you know the IP address it's trying to connect to you can try doing a telnet <IP> <port>, and then at the same time in a separate command window run netstat. If it gives you a "SYNSENT" message that's a good sign it's being blocked.

Not 100% sure that will work, though.

that's what i was thinking. But the message that GCR site gave me (after testing that port) was the same message the computer that can't connect to steam got. SO no help there really.
