I wasn't around to watch it live but I caught most of the recast. My usual favorite, the vert skateboarding, was just sick. You can watch the top 3 medalists here: http://expn.go.com/expn/story?pageName=050805_skatevert_01
Few things I noted.
Shaun White, mostly known for his snowboarding skills, is a sick athlete.
Sandro Diaz pulled off the 900 IN THE MIDDLE OF HIS RUN, which was solid, and only got a bronze! Tony Hawk was the first to do the 900 at the X-Games, but it wasn't during his run (and he tried a couple times).
Gagnon has been pretty close to the top of his sport for the past few years. Good to see him finally get it, but his winning run wasn't as flashy as he could've. More technical than flashy.
