stupid question multiple cisco switches

same vlan?

so if I have a vlan set up on a 6009 and then I get a blade center, with an onboard 4 port gbsm can I make those four ports be the same vlan as the vlan on the 6009?

for the life of me I cant remember if this is possible and I'd rather not have to "test" it since this is a production network.
