Ordering new card tommorow. 300 bucks is my target budget, so ive narrowed it down to 2 cards
I am upgrading from a 9800pro 128 to

Either...

a 6800GT 256

or

a x800 Pro 256

Benchmarks schmenchmarks, they say all different things. Which card should i get?

Whatever is cheaper. I doubt you'll find more than 10% performance difference between them.

when is that? cuz u mgiht just want to save your money for that rig........ i still have a 9800Pro and i run almost everything pretty good still

it runs bf2 great in medium. i want to run well in high. and this computer should last me another year with this last upgrade. but i have pondered long on that very issue.
