Good free DVD player (with no spyware)?

Tried to search, but TW won't let me search for DVD (3 letters), and there's no search bar in the archives for some reason.


Tried Media Player Classic and Klite codecs, but sometimes it skips a second or two while playing. Btw, what other problems could be causing this?
 
could be your mpeg-2 decoder. try windows media player.

if not, you should "purchase" PowerDVD.
 
I only use MPC, but i have Cyberlink PowerDVD and Intervideo WinDVD 5 as backups. They always work good for me.

Ugh, WinDVD is a piece of shit imo. It starts my fan in my tower.
 
All you need for everything is Media Player Classic, ffdshow, quicktime/realtime alternative. Codec packs suck. ffdshow > *.
