Im not a skinhead but I sometimes blow up things in the desert with a shotgun. Normally 2liter soda bottles full of gasoline shook up a bit. You set a fire behind it, so when you shoot it the gas catches it on fire and it blows up, if you just shoot it you're going to have a leaky tank

They probably set some stuff on fire near it for when it got ruptured by the gun in case they didn't get a spark. I think you can actually shoot a tank like that and not have it blow up in the fiery sense, just crap under pressure sense.
