Starship Troopers the Video Game ...

There is a SST game, infact it was quite OK even though it had a lot of camera problems and a few gameplay oddities. It had the power armor so it was :cool:
 
You mean that RTS where you commanded your squads?
I thought it was pretty neat when it came out, but I never bought it because the demo used to give me a BSOD every 10 minutes.
It looked really cool for its time (but no blood though :() and the squad commands and squad setup screens were neat. You could choose formations and stuff, and tell your troopers to turn their lights on or off (what was the point?). Blasting those giant bugs with portable nukes kicked ass.
Man, now I want to get that game just to see how it really ended up.

By the way, there is an FPS in the works.

It's pretty impressive for an Alpha imo. The graphics look pretty meh in a lot of aspects, but the fact that they wrote an engine that can show up that many bugs on screen is really neat (you can see bugs crawling all the way from the background, now that should be cool).
I'm just hoping they don't botch it up with shitty gameplay and a glitchy engine.
 
Im sure if they make a realistic one that people would be like "the bugs are too hard to kill i want better guns, and the bugs weaker"
 
uh... they've already made one. But yeah, it sucked.
