Muting flash movies.. possible?

I'm studying for biology and they have all these really helpful flash movies describing DNA sequences and shit like that.. but some douche talks the whole time and his voice is at like 3093 decibles which sucks because I'm trying to listen to music. Anything I can do my good friends?
