Does anyone live near the Ft. McCoy area?

I am going up there for a week to do some military work at one of the units we have there, wouldn't mind hanging out with some TW peeps cause I hear its a hell hole there.

I live in Chicago, but my unit goes to McCoy for weapons qual., AT, mobilization, etc. It pretty much sucks. McCoy's is a decent bar, but that's all there is to do on post. The only place I've been in the surrounding area is Walmart. so I can't help you there. Have fun.

If I remember correctly, Fort McCoy is out in the boonies and there's nothing around it.
