Cool things to do in DC this weekend?

I'm going to a show at the black cat on saturday...and my girlfriend and i are gonna stay at a hotel sat night...and go down early saturday to spend the day in dc.

what are some cool things to do? (aside from the obvious musuems and zoo)

(we are going out to diner in adams morgan..at the Meskerem etophian restaurant)

i used to live in bethesda so went to dc quite a bit, but she hasn't been to dc in a long time

Adams morgan is good. Gtown is real nice as well. Arlington is a happening place as well if you want to travel outside of the city.

I got kicked out of there for trying to enter a back area on accident, and I said "Don't gas me" when the lady told me I had to leave that area.

That is so....just....wrong...but....funny at the same time

Oh, and as somebody who works in D.C. every day, I would say the best thing to do down here....is to leave and go home!

Seriously, I have no idea what to do in D.C... sorry
