Kosher Salt or Sea Salt

is there a difference?

Sometimes i see sea salt but not kosher, sometimes both, sometimes neither. what gives
 
Kosher means it has been blessed by a rabbi

You can get a pound of salt from the same pile, have one half blessed and the other not and the blessed stuff is deemed kosher.

(edit, classing kosher has more to do with just being blessed by a rabbi, there is scripture involved and stuff too, this is just an oversimplified explanation)
