Uh yeah. Good job idiots.

MINOT, North Dakota (AP) -- Thirty-six children were injured in a sledding accident during an all-night New Year's Eve party hosted by a religious organization.

Three of the children were hospitalized, but all were in stable condition Saturday, hospital officials said. The others were treated and released.

Police Sgt. Winston Black said more than 100 children ages 12 to 19 attending a Youth for Christ event gathered at a high school around 4 a.m. to slide down a hill using sleds built out of cardboard boxes.

A sign posted on the hill prohibited sledding.

The children and Youth for Christ staff piled eight to 12 passengers on the sleds, then went down the hill in quick succession, Black said. "The sleds struck rocks, a light pole and each other," he said.

Black said he did not know if the organization had permission to use the hill. Police were investigating.

There was no immediate response to a call seeking comment from Youth for Christ headquarters on Saturday.

Sleds made out of cardboard boxes with 8 kids on each is just asking for something bad to happen.

back in my day we'd pack 12 kids on a sled made of packing crates, and seeing people get hurt was part of the fun!

and then we'd go home and our mothers would burn our sleds for heat!

This is exactly why religious organizations shouldn't be allowed to host all-night New Year's Eve parties.

pff what sissys, our favorite game was get as many people on a sled as you can, and as many sleds as you can, and go down the hill trying to knock the other kids off the other sleds

what the fuck. just last year they closed this street on a huge hill down and me and some friends got drunk and put foam mats in garbage bags, sprayed them with cooking oil and down we went.

Real kids take the pain, get there sleds and continue to put their life in danger.

Took the words right out of my mouth.

This is the most protected, coddled, self-entitled, feedback cravin, groupthinking generation yet.

Weve created a monster.
