Nice :) suprnova might be dead but not eXeem!

When suprnova died, I tried to access the forums and noticed the eXeem section of the forums was not there so I was like meh =\ it was a freaking nice little program and it would have been frustrating for the devs to have invested so much time/energy to see this die.

But the section is back and version 0.16 is there :) With an all new look. Power up eXeem for those who have it and keep the bandwith flowing :)
 
It's in beta. I think this was posted just so Merranza could reassure everyone that he is stunningly e-cool. eXeem is nothing special.

It's the first time I see your name on TW. And maybe I posted this to remind people around here who got on beta to keep using the program because they might have dropped it when they saw the forum section wasn't there anymore
 
How does the program perform with regards to download speeds, ease of finding stuff, etc? Is it anywhere near being ready for public release?
 
Download speeds are generally pretty good, theres not much on it because its beta but whats on there is easy to search through, and it is pretty much ready for public release in my opinion. However its pretty much just like every other p2p program in that it will probably end up being bombed with fake pron and music files.

Somewhat far from public release according to me. I haven't had any problems related to crash issues myself but other testers have. Problems with some files suddenly disappearing or minizing to tray problems happen. I love how *light* is the program. Like 6 files on your hdd. Think of the perfect hybrid between BT and p2p programs like Kazaa. The newest version added the possibility to custom skin your gui which is nice. I've had a MUCH better download/upload ratio then with any other programs (shadow, azareus etc...).

I often get 100k/sec + d/l and the program sticks to my u/l fixed ratio which is set to 65 (out of 80)

hmm nah

the rating/voting system will prevent most of it. The fact it's all about torrent files is so minimizing the fake porn etc... probs

Problem is not getting the program, it's getting a working key for it. They released 5000 exactly and they are very strict even with people who lose them.

I think they added a few more to the test based on invites and referals. But even the new bunch invited gets no access to beta forums =\ meh
 
At least it's reassuring that the program is out there and works. Worst-comes-to-worst, with the current crack-down on trackers, they release a version or a crack that just eliminates the need for a key.

Yep actually, with the search feature, all people would need is a forum to post requests. The search feature is kindof having suprnova.org directly integrated in your program.
 
i have a spare key if you want it (at some point they gave everyone anothey key) however you cant access the forum with it, just use the proggy. want me to PM it to you?
