Anyone beaten XMEN Legends?

I've beaten the game and am on my second go around. I still am unable to unlock the other costumes and also why is there a danger room disk on the last stage if you can't even go back to use it? Doesn't make any sense to me.

I must be doing something wrong. Can anyone explain this to me?
 
his flurry legend move or whatever hits the last boss like 5 or 6 times for an okay bit of damage, and you can hardly ever get hit while doing it.

Just do that over and over
