You live at home dont you?

Try paying mortgage, student loans, etc every month and then getting a whole paycheck that doesnt have to be applied to anything except good times;)

I'm at college but yes you're right I'm mooching off my parents..

The point still stands that nothing has really changed. It's just a trick of your mind. You should be looking at your annual expenses and income; and instead of throwing the money away on "good times," consider investing it.

I know you aren't going to listen but I feel like I should at least make an effort.

for me it's July and December

helps with presents and also with extra fun money for the summer :)
 
I think weekly is the best, you keep getting money.. it doesn't give you more, but it's nice to get some every week.
