What was the command to format master boot again? It's format /mboot or something...I can't remember right now.

Well sometimes when you have linux and windows on the same system, you have to format the master boot record so that it will boot up windows when you delete linux. Or so that is the only way I thought possible.

thats for XP/2000 ect as well
not if you run a real filesystem

Edit: Bloops, didn't occur to me that people actually put their linux boot loader on the MBR. Yeah, it doesn't matter what windows in that case.
