Heres a teamspeak channel for police scanners from major cities and counties from all over the United States.

Pretty Cool stuff, especially if you know the codes and callsigns. I hang out in the Las Vegas Room all the time, here are the codes and callsigns for Vegas:

anyone happen to know what precincts the nypd covers? i haven't caught it yet but i do know it's an impact precinct.
 
hrm... 17, wtf... that's manhattan. that can't be right, i don't think that's impact. must be more than one pct on there.
 
hrm it says nypd's citywide. that's boring. they should put brooklyn north in there instead heh.

Well, I mean some of them are big mistakes. :)

10-20/30 = Robbery
10-21/31 = Burglary
10-22/32 = Larceny
10-33 = Explosive Device/Threat
10-24/34 = Assault
10-29/39 = Other crime (specify)
