Much better than 3 so far. It has captivated me more in the first hour than 3 did in several hours.

I'm saying that 3 didn't make me want to play it until a plot started coming together well into the game. In 4 I'm finding odd messages scrawled on my walls about how my apartment seems to be in another dimension and that there is another world created outside of the lord's realm, but still within it. That and phoning the local bar seems to connect me to the official "Freaky Ass Monsters" headquarters.

And this is for Xbox. No word on PC or PS2 yet.
 
i remember playing silent hill (1 or 2) in the basement in my house, ~4:30 AM, so real scary part happening, and the power goes out. that was fucked
 
every game after SH1 is more of a let down than the last.

the first game was the only horror game on a console that scared the shit out of me compared to resident evil 1 & 2.
 
I'm stuck in SH4. The retard guy at the front door to the orphanage wants some fucking chocolate milk.....
Which zombie has the chocolate milk??!?!
