College billing statements confuse the hell out of me...help

Way back when I applied for financial aid at Mizzou, I signed off on the aid package they gave me, and a part of the was a federally run $2,000 / year loan. I've got to assume it's being used since I'm in the positives on my billing statement, but where the hell does this federal money come from, and how will I repay it?
 
u'll get shit from MOHELA and the federal gov.. just ignore it til u get close to graduation.. believe me.. u will get so much shit it wont be even funny
