I am a registered republican and have been since 1992. But I always vote for either democrat or green party in presidential elections. I figure I can vote for the republican during primaries that i could most live with (for example, McCain over Bush)

is this wrong? I don't believe in most (if not all) of their political ideals.

Nothing wrong with that. I registered Independant way back when, and I can't vote for any primaries. I wish I had just picked either one or the other. Since your registration doesn't mean much anyway.

Do you think it's possible that there are some "republicans" registered as Democrats just so they can vote for the worst candidate during the primaries?
