now that there are vet4, it just "means" next to nothing to have a vet sponser.

good point, a decent member wouldn't look to less of a vet2 to have a proper sponsorship.
that isn't to say a vet1 couldn't acquire some prestige and make his title more meaningful, it's just harder to do.
