Did m$ discontinue the intellimouse explorer v3 ?

i just pulled them off the display last week...replaced with the intellimouse platinum...its about the same but mouse wheel tilts also...tilt, push, roll...
 
Stay away from the platinum 4.0

WARNING

he mouse while looking and feeling good isnt a gamers mouse.
The non clicking wheel cycles weapons WAY to fast. (even after adjusting the acceleration of the wheel settings)

and when moving the wheel forward or backward you slightly alwaystilt the wheel. Once its being "tilted" the forward and reverse commands arent recieved by the mouse.. HORRIBLE.
Also the intellimouse 5.0 software has taken out the "assingn a keystroke" to a button featue.

This is a giant Leap BACKwards.

I got an mx700 (cordless) and mx 500 (corded)

I miss my 3.0 :(
