They don't even have to be what you think are the best 10 ever, just the 10 you like listening to presently. I know it's hard as hell but try to narrow it down to 10.

1. Zep - Stairway to heaven
2. Floyd - Dogs
3. Stevie Ray Vaughan - littlewing cover
4. RHCP - I could have lied
5. Ted Nyugent - Stranglehold
6. Grateful dead - Looks like rain
7. Skynyrd - Free Bird
8. Floyd - Money
9. Clapton - Cocaine
10.Tool - No Quarter (the acoustic guitar over electric)

this is tough.

I can't put them in order so I'll just a bunch:

Hendrix - All along the watchtower
Clapton - Edge of darkness
SRV - little wing
Eddie V - Eruption
Eagles - Hotel California
Joe Satriani - Summer Song
Eric Johnson - cliffs of dover
Steve Vai - the solo that ralph macchio "played" in crossroads

rush - la villa strangiato (2nd solo, 1st electric one) is my favorite
the acoustic solo from wish you were here is another favorite too
beyond that, there's way too many to mention.

Since I can't think of too many favorite solos.. I will list my favorite guitar songs:

Pink Floyd - Have a Cigar
Pink Floyd - Comfortably Numb
Pink Floyd - Dogs
Pink Floyd - Echoes
Metallica - Fight Fire with Fire
Tool - Third Eye [live]
Radiohead - Paranoid Android
Nirvana - Heart-shaped Box
A Perfect Circle - Blue
A Perfect Circle - Judith
