Was this movie any good? I am contemplating getting it cuz its a spiffy two disc set, and I buy all the 2 disc sets. It doesnt look too bad.

Was it actually an OK movie or was it just stupid like JasonX?

i haven't seen it but the dude who plays freddy said they are making a sequel. the movie also did better in like the first weekend at the box office than the last movies in each franchise (ie Jason X and the last Freddy) COMBINED. [cough]marketing hype[cough].

this movie would have rocked had they made it back 15 years ago when we all still cared (AND WANTED IT). i'm assuming having made it back then it would have been completely different and not as shitty as i've heard it is.
 
apparently none of you saw this in a theatre dominated by 13 year olds whose mothers disappeared and all ooed and aahhed every time someone showed a breast.
